Agave maturation: 6 – 8 years
Espadín is the agave that requires the least time to mature, serving as the first
impression and introduction to the work of the maestro mezcalero. Crafted from
organic agaves grown at Hacienda Carreño, with 6 to 8 years of maturation, free
from pesticides and chemical herbicides.
Organoleptic Analysis
Appearance: Crystalline.
Nose: Citrus, herbal and light toasted nuances.
Palate: Citrus notes of lemon, mandarin, grapefruit and guava, with subtle toasted
