My love for importing and exporting was born from a deep passion for traveling, meeting people from different cultures, and discovering unique products from around the world. Exploring new places always led me to hidden gems—whether it was a rich, aromatic coffee from the mountains of Colombia or a smooth, handcrafted cachaça from Brazil.

One of my most memorable discoveries happened while I was in Brazil, when a friend introduced me to cachaça—a spirit I had never tried before. The first sip intrigued me so much that I bought an entire bottle at a restaurant, saving it for special occasions and sharing it with friends and family. That moment reinforced something I had always believed—there are incredible products out there that most people in 

the U.S. have never had the chance to experience.

After serving in the U.S. Army, I wanted to see more of the world. One day, while on a beach in Brazil, I looked out at the horizon and saw a long line of cargo ships floating in the distance, carrying goods that would soon reach people across the globe. In that moment, I knew I wanted to be a part of that process—to help move products across borders, connect producers with new markets, and introduce consumers to exceptional goods from different cultures.

That vision led me to start Owens Global Trading Company, where we specialize in sourcing and importing high-quality coffee, spirits, and other unique products from Latin America and beyond. We work closely with importers, wholesalers, distributors, and businesses of all sizes, from local coffee shops to national retailers, ensuring they have access to the best international products at competitive prices.
